Novice Team - Rubies & Jewels

Join our Half-Season Cheer Team designed for beginners who want a fun and low-commitment introduction to cheerleading! Our Novice Team is perfect for ages 4-6 (Rubies) and 7-11 (Jewels), meeting once a week for one hour of practice. Over 5 months (October 29 - March 29), your child will attend 20 practices, learning cheer fundamentals in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

What to Expect:

• Practice Schedule: Rubies (Ages 4-6) - Tuesdays 5:30-6:30 PM, Jewels (Ages 7-11) - Tuesdays 6:45-7:45 PM

• Dates: Tuesdays (October 29, 2024 - March 29, 2025)

• Location: CIU Dance Studio, 2255 W Choctaw St

• Performances: 3 local performances/competitions in the Tulsa area

• All-Inclusive Monthly Price: Includes uniform, box, and practice T-shirt

• Cost-Effective: Less than half the cost of our full-year competitive teams

Our half-season program allows participants to experience the excitement of cheerleading without the year-round commitment. Coaches will teach the fundamentals of cheerleading in a two-minute routine including music, tumbling, motions, jumps, stunting, and dance in a fun and supportive setting. The focus is on building confidence and teamwork, with opportunities to perform locally!

Parent Meeting: Join us for an informational parent meeting on October 22, 2024, at 6 PM in the CIU Dance Studio.
